The Grebel Family

I know, I know. I haven't kept up my end of the bargain by posting things everyday. But I have been busy. :) Here are some pictures of the photo shoot I did for the Grebel family when I went home over Easter. This is Darin, Tammy, Katelyn and Bethany (aka Little Bethany). They are my second family in Hesperia. I love them dearly and the girls are definitely my girls. :)

Don't you just love them! I know I do.

My Headshots

Here are some examples of some of the headshots that I have taken over the years. Several of these are more recent, but this first one is of Karina. She was my first paying customer. It wasn't that hard of a job. I have discovered that I truly love taking pictures of people. Not that I hate taking pictures of the wonderfully amazing scenes that God paints everyday, I have just found my place in taking pictures of the wonderfully amazing people that God created.

Amanda and Billy

This from the first wedding I did on my own. Billy is the brother of one of my very good friends Hilary. It was a pleasure and a blast taking these pictures. I am honored that they asked me to be a part of their incredibly special day.

I love the special moments.

And the romantic moments.

And don't forget the most important details.

Everyday New

So I have decided to post a new picture of mine everyday. This way I can show my work and it will keep me taking pictures. I hope that you enjoy them and keep coming back for more. :) Today's picture was taken a few summers back in Greenwich Village.

Another favorite

This was taken at the Vietnam Memorial in Washington DC. Someone brought these items to the wall in memory of someone they loved and lost. It is one of my favorite pictures I have ever taken.

Some of my favorites

This picture was taken on Bleecker Street in New York

So people say Kaylan is the other half of my brain, personally I take that as a huge compliment. Aren't we all pirates at heart?

This is Cole's little brother, Silas Clay Roberts. He is one of the cutest babies I have ever taken pictures of.

Here is the love of my life. Cole Patrick Roberts. I say he is the only man I need in my life. He smiles when I walk into a room, he laughs at all my jokes, and gives me all the hugs I need. What more can a girl ask for. :)

Welcome!

Welcome to my blog! I am new at this so forgive me if it takes some time for me to get this all right. Here is a little bit about my life at the moment. I graduated from Fresno State with my BA in Theatre and now live in Fresno. My "grown up" job is working in the Student Financial Services Department at Fresno Pacific University, the Christian college in town. And though it has nothing to do with what I majored in, I love it. The other love of my life is Phototgraphy. I started just doing it for fun, taking headshots for my friends, doing this I discovered that I love it. It is one of my true passions in life. So I have decided to stop making it just a hobby and started pursuing it more. I still do headshots, but now I also do senior pics, families, babies, the photo calls at Fresno State, and weddings. I have trained with some talented wedding photographers and now feel confident that I can do it on my own, well almost on my own I take an assistant with me. :) So that is my work, now here is my play. I spend most of my time with the people I love most. God has blessed me with the most amazing people and I know I couldn't do life without them.
